Final report for the National Forum on Partnerships Supporting Education
About the Environment, titled Education for Sustainability: An Agenda for
Action, released in 1996.
This effort co-chaired by Keith Wheeler, Ralph Ponce de Leone, Madeline
Kunin, and Mark Schaefer set the national agenda for the beginning of the
Sustainability Education movement in the United States. The report was
included as part of President Clinton's Council for Sustainable Development.
